Important Announcement Concerning FTP

In the near future access via FTP will be discontinued. Anyone currently using an FTP client to access files on this server will need to start using a SecureFTP client. If you are part of the university community you can download and install SecureFX from ITC Software Central. If you are working for UVa as a consultant, or alumni, you may not have access to ITC's Software Central. If this is the case, any SecureFTP client will provide access and ITC recommends using WinSCP which is available for free at http://winscp.net.

If you are using Dreamweaver to develop your website instructions for using SecureFTP in Dreamweaver can be found on ITC's Web Development site.
